I Was Wondering How Many Others Have A Recurring Dream Of Losing Control Of Physical Strength

No I haven't dreamt of it. I would think, absolutely yes, it is playing on your mind as a concern. I used to dream my teeth were loose and I could just pull them out!! In real life my dentist said it looked like I was clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth, which is a sign of stress.
Try to do a little arm exercise every day, even just five 'press ups' against a wall standing up. Your muscles will tell your brain you are regaining strength. This may help you to relax. Wishing you a good day, low pain and comfortable sleep 🌸

Yes!! @A MyFibroTeam Member I dream that I'm trying to walk or run and my legs give out. Then I can't stand because my legs are too weak so I try to keep going walking on my knees or dragging myself. My fibro shows up in my legs the most so I imagine that's the source. It's definitely a scary feeling. Sorry to hear that you're also experiencing similar dreams. 💗

I think that's a great idea! Tonight I'm going to try to visual myself as strong, able to walk and with armor before I go to sleep. I'm getting back into meditation so I can try this during also! Ugh, the snakes and vampires sound terrifying! They say that we can't feel pain in our dreams but for me that's not true. I definitely have felt pain while dreaming! Usually in my legs and feet. But I love your suit of armor idea! I'm going to try that this week and will let you know how it goes. 😊 Big Hugs! X

Yes they're frustrating. Or another one I used to have was about being bitten by snakes or hunted by vampires! I was so fed up of the same dream, I woke up to go to the toilet, went back to bed and purposely went back into that dream to slay the vampires. Weird I know! But funny enough I haven't had that dream since.

So I think my anxieties are finding other ways to manifest in my dreams. May be we should dream about making a and wearing a suit of armour in our dreams and then our foe 'fibro' wont be able to beat us down in our dreams!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) x
