Any Top Tips For Summer?

How do you deal with the heat/humidity? I have autoimmune urticaria (hives) and angioedema, so i am just itchy and swollen all summer! If you have any keep cool or dealing with swelling and humidity tips, i would love to hear them!

buy some of those cooling towels. you wet them down and then give a couple of tugs, will stay cool a few hours at a time. I like Serena Williams but any than don't have beads inside them. There are also cooling wrist bands.

I wear only natural fibers for tops in the warm weather: cotton, rayon, modal...and I try to make them loose if they have sleeves. Finding sunscreen with the fewest chemicals, I don't know, but it's important. Maybe someone else has ideas about that. Stay away from polyester. They will make the most outrageous claims about the fabric being breathable, but it's not true. ❤

My left foot swells so much when it's humid or a thunderstorm is predicted. I can't even wear a shoe or sandal on that foot. It's hard to find shoes to fit due to this. I drink alot of water and take a diuretic and elevate my feet. I also try to massage my foot to stimulate the lymphatic system. Wear cotton breathable clothing. Loose fitting clothes like skirts, cotton shirts, and tanks. Cornstarch instead of powder patted into areas that experience moisture. Stay cool outside by taking a spray bottle and spritz little water on arms and face.

I use a cooling towel around my neck,, when the cooling feeling goes away you snap it and it cools off again. Has been very comforting especially since I live in the hot desert. Good luck and soft hugs
