Hi! Does anyone have periods where they have a feeling like their fine motor skills aren’t quite as dexterious as before? I’m struggling so much with this disorder bc it’s as if it always changes. One of the things I have that comes and goes is almost like a slight falling asleep feeling in my left hand/forearm and when it happens, it makes my fingers feel like they get a little stuck. I also have this issue but no matter what I tell my Dr it seems to not matter much they won't give me anything for it so I document it at home and keep a pain journal.

@A MyFibroTeam Member yes, it had been a lot but like most fibro sufferers, I was having such strange symptoms that scared me. Honestly, it’s hard for me to think fibromyalgia would impact my fine motor skills but I guess I have to believe that

Parasthesia is a common fibro symptom. I have a numb area on the outside of my right thigh. It doesn't affect my functioning. I can.imagine this symptom showing up anywhere. But it could be a pinched nerve in your neck too. Has that been checked out?

My left hand just always feels more uncoordinated these days. No issues wirh my right (other than some numbness some days) but it’s mainly my left side in general that bothers me more...especially my hand /fine motor movements. It’s the weirdest thing. I didn’t realize fibro could impact motor skills

Yes I have the same problem. It is fibro related and as fibro is a nerve disorder it is nerve related too. I find I often have to edit a text or message here as I make so many errors.
