Flatter the pillows (I suggest a mediflow pillow) the better my chiropractor has once said to me. We aren’t meant to sleep with them. The flatter our heads are on the bed the better. Sleeping on our backs is the best way to sleep. You also might need a new bed if it has deep impressions already. Also make sure you’re not grinding or gnashing your teeth at night. That can cause neck pain! I never knew that until I just recently went to the dentist and was told to get a night guard

So I recently did research on pillows. I decided to give the memory foam water pillow a try by mediflow. I’m also tired of headaches from sleeping wrong and not necessarily from not drinking enough water. Also if you are a teeth grinder at night or gnasher @A MyFibroTeam Member I suggest getting a night guard.

Hi hun ⚘🤗, your question is very specific ... you asked if we're suddenly waken up, do we get a headache and feel quite sick like we're going to pass out and even nauseous. I used to get these more with low blood pressure and a combination of pre diabetes.

But the ones I get NOW, versus years ago, I am convinced it's from my newer cell phone. It's huge. It emits more light even on dim and with the increased g's I'm noticing differences. Perhaps it's not as sinister as the radiation it emits but using it before bedtime results in making me feel nauseous and temporal pounding and eye "tenderness" may be the best word. A sleep specialist told me that she turns off her phone (the hard power off, not just the temp off) and even disconnects her Wi-Fi router....and won't leave her phone in her bedroom at night. I also don't carry my phone in my clothes during the day, I leave it out on a counter or a table.

I hope this helps. You've gotten a great amount of answers to this question! 🌸🥰

Yes I fairly offen wake with headache . Yes, pillows are a factor. Good point Margi ! And water . Only thing is I try to hydrate and then spend a lot of time peeing it out! I know I need the hydration ,but it won't stay in my body.
I have head to neck issues that can cause headache and into shoulder ache.
