Myofascial Pain Syndrome?
Besides my "all-over" fibro pain, I have (for a LONG time ) a couple spots in my right shoulder & upper/mid back with knots at trigger point sites. I'm pretty sure it's myofascial pain syndrome, will chat with my Dr in a week about it.
My question: do others have this - MPS, in addition to fibro? I plan to get a trigger point injection as I can't stand enough direct pressure to get them to release.... And Any treatment that has helped? Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks, Deb
I had it all over my back, bum, shoulders and upper arms. More than 15 years ago a fantastic massage therapist got rid of it entirely over an extended time. Very gentle pressure not hard enough to hurt.
Every time I get a spasm I'm super vigilant about protecting the area, so I don't get a recurrence.

Sounds like they were doing myofascial release. π When I get to see one PT, she does MFR and I feel better but she's part time then vacays, so the other one does massage, sometimes too painful..... But not really helpful. I get to see the good one twice next week so I'm hopeful π€ Thanks so much for your answer π Love,

Yes I have neck and shoulder pain every day.
Hi adorable Foxie! Such a good mechanic π
Thanks for the response and the info. I've been going to the pool, reward myself by getting in the hot tub.
Btw, speaking of foxies.... We have 3 young ones (foxes, not dogs) playing out by the rim the last couple days! So so cute π₯° Thanks again,
Love,
