I absolutely hate humidity! I sweat profusely and hate it. I get to where I want to cry cuz it's hard to get things done after getting so hot

Living in the desert means long “hot”summers with temp over 110° for months. Our swimming pool is where I get my relief. It takes pressure off joints and muscles, plus allows me to do exercises in the pool without much pain.

I sweat too. I think it’s a fibro thing.

Wear woven clothes. I find that wearing knit clothing such as t-shirts makes me very hot. I try to avoid them during the summer time.wear sleeveless tops.Sleep with damp washcloth

I also live in the desert and unfortunately there’s very little humidity. However, I need some ideas on how to stay cool. I’m not fortunate enough to have a pool. I also take a medication that one of the side effects is sweating. I get so frustrated I just to cry. My doctor prescribed me a medication called dry sol but I would need to bathe in it because I sweat everywhere. It also makes me itch wherever I put it. Not as bad in the fall and winter, but I need something for the summer. HELP
