Does Anyone Else Have Jaw Problems. Tightness, Pain, Misaligned When You Try To Close Your Mouth Can't Eat.
Feels like my teeth are all out of place and won't line up. It's impossible to chew. Can't close my mouth and can't eat. Just taking in fluids.
It is probably TMJ. Please take action now. See your dentist first to see how bad it is. People with Fibromyalgia grit and grind their teeth, especially in their sleep. Years ago I had a dentist tell me I had very sharp teeth and I wore my mouth guard 24/7 for several months then just at night. Then about 2014 I lost my mouth guard. So many things were going on it was almost 4 years later before I got a new one. Then Covid hit and my Husband s COPD started getting worse. My teeth were affected by me getting the Covid, he never did, so I no longer have really sharp teeth. About 2 years ago I caught myself gritting my teeth during the day. Stress is really bad for Fibromyalgia people and so is our pain. My jaw is now where I may have to have surgery, but as my husbands primary caregiver, I can't take time ( closest TMJ doctor is 1 half hour drive). So when I'm home I wear my mouth guard 24/7.
The reason I'm telling you this is because when you catch TMJ early, it can often be remedied by wearing a fitted mouth guard from your dentist. If not treated you can have all kinds of problems. 🤗
I used to have a jaw issue like that. A chiropractor aligned my jaw. Since then I’ve not had any issues and I have never had a migraine again
After all I went through in high school with braces, as soon as I felt my teeth move I got to an orthodontist. I wear removable retainers at night. It has made a huge difference in my jaw.
Mine catches on the left side, tmj
Sounds like tmj. U should get a mouth guard. God bless!
