Wow. That is such a completely inhumane response. So sorry you have to deal with that. Is there any way to get a second opinion? It might be helpful to look into opioid addiction resources too. Not saying you are an addict, but these would be the people who are actually trained and more compassionate to someone who wants to get off it.
