Thanks Susan that’s great information. I was bed wetting until I was fourteen Lucy. It really made me miserable. My mother just dealt with it and never made a fuss. My aunts and uncles spoke as if I did it on purpose. I have always had an overactive bladder. Over forty years ago urology could not help me, they said in thirty years knowledge would have increased and things will be different. Well they are not. Urology consultant is ignoring me, I ask for help from an organisation who liaise on your behalf and they are so busy I have to wait for their help. Wait, wait wait wait. Take care everybody.

I have had bladder problem forever!! I have a new thing that FINALLY works for me!! I take D- Mannose from AZO. I took it before, and I it didn't work, I guess I can't take enough- I now take 4 a day. I also added UT FIX by Pure Health Research and I take 2 It also had 1 mg D-Mannose Plus Vit. A , Cranberry Extract and Bee propolis. I seem to be able to hold more urine and instead of getting up 3- times and night, I usually get up once!!!!! I try to empty my bladder every few hours!!! I haven't had a bladder infection for a couple of month (which is new for me!!) I hope this works for you too!!! Good Luck you all!! Peter, Kathy, Karen, and Lucy10 and the the rest of you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can now go out!! Well, I could until I begin to fall backwards!! I can be standing or walking and it's as if someone pushed by HARD !! I go flying backwards and wreck everything I hit!!! My Neologist changed offices and I am awaiting a referral!!

Yes I do. I wear Poise pads 24/7. Also have a protective mattress cover on my bed which i bought on Amazon. My control is worse when I have a uti but I do have it otherwise too. I've had a bladder tuck or sling done several years ago but mine didn't hold. A urologist a few years ago said I have a very large bladder. I don't know if thats the problem or not. But I see a new urologist in a couple weeks. My dad died from bladder cancer when he was 55 years old. That's always in the back of my mind. But I'll be 70 in a few days. So I'm not to concerned. May you get answers soon. May God bless.

I’m so sorry, Lucy.

I would definitely try some pelvic floor exercises much like the ones you would do to prep for birth.

I’m not sure why, but I keep thinking you were one of the members with endometriosis. An assortment of bladder issues are associated with endo.

But I remember now you had adhesions along your C-section scar.
When you go for that follow up visit definitely tell your OBGYN about this.

They might even refer you to a pelvic floor clinic.

Big hugs, friend. πŸ€—πŸ’
