They may “band” them too. It’s not surgical and is an office procedure. It’s exactly what it sounds like, they wrap an elastic around the hemorrhoid. It eventually dies without its blood supply and falls off into the toilet. I would recommend having a donut pillow and someone to drive you home. It’s hard to adjust yourself when you’re driving. The donut pillow is mainly for the first day and night. Some people don’t feel the pain but I think we fibro warriors feel pain differently.

Try applying ice. I have found that that works when the creams don't.Complete pain relief from ice.

DH's GI Doc recommends Metamucil daily, first thing in the AM will avoid them forming.

Fortunately I don't. You'd think with the constipation problems do to the pain medication that I would but I don't. I do have to take Miralax everyday to be able to go.
So sorry you have them. Praying that you can get some relief soon.💖🙏💖
