Does Anyone Have Any Tips To Make Morning Stiffness/ Getting Out Of Bed Easier?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Yukon, OK

I struggle with morning stiffness so bad that before fibro I could only describe waking up in the morning as being so tired it hurts, but it literally does hurt! Morning stiffness plus sleeping problems makes waking up and getting out of bed the hardest part of the day.

💖 I hope it helps dear.
No guarantees 😉
Love,
Deb 😘

Are There Patterns For The Tremors?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Tampa, FL

For me personally, I know that stress, sugar level, and other things can influence pain and/or the tremors. I am curious what other patterns or trends people notice for tremors asides from misding medication or pushing our bodies too far. I know. I recently have needed to ice a strained area of my body, and that may have triggered tremors now. I am just curious, because I don’t know if these tremors are just random some days like the pain or if there is usually a reason.

A MyFibroTeam Member

I have noticed the tremors happen with pressure systems, touch, stress and pain. I have also noticed they can be an indicator of something else more serious going on within my body that has not yet… read more

Does Anyone Else Want To Give Up Going To The Doctors With Anything That Doesn’t Feel Like Fibromyalgia?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Letchworth Garden City, UK

I have had fibromyalgia for 10 years (since diagnosis), and lately I feel that all is not well. My father had a muscle wasting disease and died at only 57 years old. He has a twin brother that also has a muscle disease and two of his daughters have it too. My uncles disease is different to that of my father’s, but symptoms are similar. I have looked into my Dads disease and it seems it can be hereditary and as they learn more about it, it does seem to affect more women. I asked about this and… read more

I've found that as soon as your Dr knows you have fibro, it becomes a "catch all" and everything will be blamed on fibro. And they don't want to look at/for anything else. 💖

"Hot" Spots

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Poth, TX

Does anyone have areas on their skin that are so sensitive that even soft material hurts it. The area may be as small as 4-5 inches to an entire hip. Doesn't last but a day or so, then it either goes away or moved to another area. I struggle with it a lot.

A MyFibroTeam Member

Yes. Right now my legs are “hot”. Calves. ???

Does Anyone Have Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome? I Do- (and Fibro , Plus Bunch More.)

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
South New Jersey , USA

Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome is linked to Fibro. It's also a illness diagnosed by ruling out everything else.

Curious if anyone else has it.

A MyFibroTeam Member

Thank you for the hug!
