Mobility Scooter For Young People?
I'm thinking about getting a mobility scooter, it's a hard step because I'm 24 and look even younger than that, and I would hate to meet old classmates etc while in a scooter. My question is if anyone knows of a good kind of scooter that looks less like a wheelchair and more like a typical scooter a young person would use, just with a seat. Also, I want something I can use both on the sidewalk and in a store while shopping. Any advice would be appreciated :)
Sounds great! My auto wheelchair also a Rascal, because of specific compression and neck vertebrae cracks + Leo problems, and because I'm 4ft 10, and way only 7 stone something, they made mine to specification
Thank you Shani, within my faith I have certain duties to others, that's why I do the things I do, you must agree the fullness you feel inside when you help someone smile? I believe we are all given certain gifts for a reason, that's why I teach and campaign against Domestic violence, changes in British Laws regarding the differences on rights and treatment of survivors and sexual predators, environmental issues and stuff though my forte is the written word. Used the right way within the political area is astounding! That's why I work also in political journalism.
Hi, look up mobility scooters for teens ,I know your not a teenager but there are some great designs that look more like a scooter bike rather than your typical older persons mobility scooter.some look like they have very comfy seats too.The compact rascal mobility scooter by blue color mobility looks great.
I've been thinking the same thing because if I use a stick it causes days of recovery after. I've had a look myself and I've found that if you research the sort of equipment the paraolymians use you can see really good cutting edge designs that are modern and practical. Many were out of my price range but there are choices out there. Many designers are trying to make disability equipment that incorporates design and function. I hope you find something you feel comfortable using as I'm in the same position I know it's not easy.
My reply was that I have been an automatic wheelchair user since my early twenties, darling it's not about the equipment looks like on the outside...its what's inside that truly matters, if other people cannot. See or understand that...then sod them! Not your problem sweetheart...its theirs,
