Benfits
Is there any benefits I can claim along side working part time with having fibromyalgia and ME? I already claim housing benefit, child tax credits, and working tax credits but I havnt informed any of them of my dignosis.
When I first of all had to give up work I was put into JSA, I then had my interview at the Job Centre & the lady said I should be on ESA. I've been on that since, at first on a low rate which was risen after I had a medical requested by the DWP. I got a lump sum back payment plus a rise to my fortnightly benefit. My GP & psychiatrist have both said they think I would get PIP so I've applied for it.
As the forms are so intense I made an appointment with the CAB for them to help & advise me to fill in the forms. I was in there for nearly 3 hours but hopefully it'll be worth it.
I've not hear anything yet but it's a long process so now it's a waiting game.
Hope this helps. X
