How To Come Off Gabapentin & Citalopram?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’
Reigate, UK

Has anyone else been on this combination for years and want to come off? My Doctor is reluctant but says if I wish to she suggests coming down over 2-3 weeks but not sure if doing one med at a time is best and if so - which first? I really want to find out if they are helping and not just a habit! Flareup have been getting longer and worse... maybe the time for a change!

Thank you - I thought her timeframe was fast! It sounds like I'm damned if I do & damned if I don't - think I should start with a slow withdrawal of the meds - one at a time. I would love to find my old self again even if she must approach life older, wiser and finding away to manage the pain naturally" - be good to take back control! Cheers Shona
