A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question πŸ’

The newest symptom to my ever growing list is shaky hands. Is there anything I can do, take to reduce this?

I understand how hard it is when the shakes come on, it happened to me a few months ago and it's hard to accept. I've not found anything that stops it but do find its worse when I try to do too much, just pace yourself is all I've found to reduce it. Know your limits x

I get shaky hands and sometimes they just jerk. I've knocked cups of tea over many times! I've been told it's to do with mis-firing nerve signals. And it's a good idea to do gentle daily hand movements, exercises, stretching and making a fist very gently to keep maximum blood flow to the area. Wishing you a good day, with low pain 🌸

Cut down on caffiene, take iron supplements, get a stress ball and exercise your hands every day. Squeeze for a count of 5, release for a count of 5, 3 sets 3 times a day. These things have all helped me, hope they help you!
