Does Anyone Else Get A Severe Itchy Rashes All Over Their Bodies?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Seymour, IN

I get these severe rashes that are all over my body and the burning itch never seems to stop no matter what kind of medicine we have tried. It was originally attributed to eczema but a dermatologist said that it wasn't it. My skin always feels like its on fire and is touch sensitive a lot of the time. Cant have the dogs even lick my hands.

I understand this. Aveeno is soothing. As is the lotion
Can’t use the face cream too scented!
I was alerted to a cream named VANICREAM, moisturizing skin cream free of dyes, fragrance etc
It’s stamped by the national eczema assoc and dermatologist recommended
I bought the 1 lb pump or 453 g from amazon along with the sun cream
Perfect. It comes from U.S.
Lasts a long time and not greasy.

Definitely I suffer from MCS (Multiply Chemical Sensitivity) and Fibro is a side effect. I now don't use any commercially made products and make most of the stuff I use to clean house, etc. myself. Anything with a fragrance/perfume sends me into wanting to peel the skin of my face especially. I did find something that does assist is not sure what you call it in English but in Afrikaans (my home language) would be called speen salf ... directly transladed would be rude.. but it is a kind of cream they put on the udders of cows. Very good for any itchiness in humans. It has no fragrance or toxin. I also found putting about 250ml of Epson salts in your bath water every week helps with the eczema /psoriasis I have. I hope you have a good day.!

My skin just took one of its fibromyalgia 180 turns so epsom salt baths are stinging wildly. Back to oatmeal. When I am this sensitive it is all I can do to wear the loosest cotton clothes (all the tags are carefully cut out) and I have specific not-so-flattering bras for days like these. Just pulled out the oatmeal bath envelopes (Aveeno) and the water temp will be just warm enough to ease the pain...can’t be too warm can’t be cool. Such a hothouse flower 🌸! Lol. Even the cat touching me hurts. Now that is silly.

Thank you for the input. Hmmm.... bag balm is an option I will look into on payday as well as some epsom salts and such. Always willing to try natural methods ove chemical (have to many medications as it is).
