Anyone Else Suffer With Bright Lights, Particularly Fluorescent?

A MyFibroTeam Member asked a question 💭
Christchurch, UK

I am increasingly unable to go anywhere where there are bright lights. Fluorescent lighting in particular brings on dizziness, nausea, confusion and swearing headaches. Can't go shopping and find it very difficult during my many Doctor and hospital appointments. Tried wearing sunglasses and UV computer screen filtering specs with decreasing success.

Have you tried glasses with green lenses? Apparently they are good for people with fibromyalgia.

Yes my rheumatologist moved to another building and I don’t like it one bit. I started feeling dizzy, it’s the bright lights that’s did it. It could have been weather too. Anyway, I had to call my hubby cuz they wouldn’t let me drive home. I hate the new change cuz b4 they moved I could see outside and look at the trees & birds. Now, it’s so sterile! But, at the same time I don’t like teleheakth cuz they don’t spend enough time with u. I gotta grin and bear it and ask my guardian Angel for extra help next time.God bless !!
