Yes i get psoriasis on my knees and elbows. For years they gave me creams. Even steroid creams. Nothing worked. So i changed my soap back to antibacterial soap, like zest or safeguard and after my shower i put lotion on my arms and legs or just elbows and knees and i haven't had a problem for a few years now till i used another soap then it started coming back so i had to get out my zest.

I have sensitive skin and have fallen in love with Beekman products. They were developed especially for nurses. Their goat milk soap is the only one I use. I have excema but its not too bad and I use Aveno products for that with the Beekman soap. They both work very well for me.

Thank you all for sharing, I appreciate it. I do have very sensitive skin. I use dove soap and hemp lotion. So I am keeping my skin moist. I have gotten more serious about putting on the medicated ointment post shower. But I am thinking that I will re-apply before bed. Thank you again, I hope none of you are not suffering to badly with these awful rashes, and fibro as well. Wishing everyone a great and safe day.

I sometimes break out with an itch on my forearms that does not seem related to my other skin ailments. It is more like the skin itch that does not stop when scratching unlike dehydrated skin that does not itch but cracks.

Hello,
I have xerosis or asteatosis (lack of fat); dermatitis; eczema on my fingernails; and complete hair loss. All of this started when I first became hypothyroidism and then turned to hyperthyroidism. My doctor at the time recommended that I use Eucerin. Eucerin is emollient and it works but it is expensive. I use it all over. As far as soap, according to instructions given for post-care after breast surgery due to breast cancer, Dove or Ivory was recommended. Since my skin is dehydrated, I use Dove soap and sometimes Oil of Olay Ribbons Body Wash along with Eucerin. I have many personal needs due to dehydrated skin and Alopecia Universalis. If I do not properly attend to my skincare needs, my skin will crack and become painful.
